Kelly Clarkson's 'Piece By Piece': Album Review
Find about what we had to say about Kelly Clarkson's new album 'Piece By Piece.'

Kelly Clarkson is regrouping after the disappointing (by her lofty standards) chart performance of Piece By Piece lead single “Heartbeat Song.” The inaugural American Idol confirmed on Twitter that she has already selected Sia-penned ballad “Invincible” as her next single. “We are about to shoot the video,” was the 32-year-old’s response to a fan’s question about the release date. “Coming soon.”

It’s a pretty safe choice. Everyone loves the pop diva in power-ballad mode and the involvement of Sia (she also sings backing vocals) lends “Invincible” an air of credibility. However, that doesn’t necessarily translate into chart success as Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” and Celine Dion’s “Loved Me Back To Life” attest. It sounds more like a cut from the Australian singer/songwriter’s 1000 Forms Of Fear LP than a Kelly Clarkson song, so this could go either way. Listen below.
