Carly Rae Jepsen Guest Stars On ABC Drama ‘Castle’: Watch Her Glamorous TV Moment
That Carly Rae Jepsen reign won’t let up! She lifts music promotion to new heights by playing herself on ABC drama Castle. Admittedly, the 29-year-old only has two lines (“Oh thanks, that means a lot to me” and “I’m so sorry, I have to go perform”) but I believed each and every word! The “Call Me Maybe” hitmaker even gets to perform current single “I Really Like You” on the show.
Despite non-stop promotion, a viral video and a star-studded visual, Carly Rae’s latest has only just managed to scrape into the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Happily, the song is getting a much better response internationally — it’s currently battling Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” for the number one spot in the UK. Perhaps one of the edgier songs on third LP E·MO·TION will have better luck?
