JoJo Confirms MNEK Collab
JoJo has confirmed that she's working with MNEK on her long, long-overdue third LP.

It’s official. MNEK is a pop alchemist. The 20-year-old singer/songwriter/producer delivered another “refix” today (May 1) — transforming Cher’s 1998 chart-topper “Believe” into soulful garage anthem. He not only swaps genres, but also adds a couple of lines from Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” and it all fits together seamlessly. The singer/songwriter’s ability to dig into the emotional core of the camp classic — and make it sound credible and current — is beyond impressive.

Apart from dropping killer cover versions, MNEK recently released his debut EP Small Talk (it spawned his first solo UK top 40 hit “The Rhythm”) and has been crafting hits for other artists. The Brit penned Kylie Minogue’s “Feels So Good,” Madonna’s “Living For Love” and Karen Harding’s “Say Something.” He also hit the studio with JoJo and has a song on her long-overdue third LP. Take a listen to his soulful twist on Cher below.
