Rae Sremmurd cruise through Johannesburg, South Africa in their new video for Sremmlife’s “This Could Be Us.” Yet despite the hip-hop duo’s usual super turnt up style, the beginning of the Max & Michael Illiams-directed visual shows a different side to the Mississippi boys.

Swae Lee first gets a call from girlfriend (played by Jasmine Villegas) who tells him that she is ending their long-distance relationship. He and his brother Slim Jimmy (whose boo thing is “Try Me” rapper Dej Loaf) take their mind of the situation by doing normal things like playing with cheetahs, taking selfies with ostriches and playing “Spin The Bottle” with Jägermeister — you know, the usual. So what’s the moral of the story? Try to keep your international passport stamps to a minimum, or else you risk losing your girl.

“This Could Be Us” is the latest of Rae Sremmurd’s debut Sremmlife LP (released on January 6), which also features club bangers like “No Type,” “No Flex Zone,” “Up Like Trump” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Throw Sum Mo.”

The hip-hop duo will join the rapstress on the U.S. leg of her Pinkprint Tour, and are also working in the studio with everyone’s favorite rebel — Miley Cyrus.
