Rita Ora’s New Single Is Possibly Called “Poison”: Listen To A Snippet Of The New Track
Eyes rolled across the internet when Rita Ora announced that the follow-up to “I Will Never Let You Down” would debut on UK radio next week. The single has been delayed so many times over the past 14 months that it has taken on a quasi-mythical status among thirsty Ritabots. It turns out, the track does exist — but it’s not called “Testosterone” like many assumed (she mentioned the title during a red carpet interview back in November).
Instead, the cover and a 30-second snippet of a previously-unreleased anthem called “Poison” surfaced online overnight and — against all odds — the track sounds like it could be worth the wait. (If this is, indeed, her next single). “I think my poison is you,” the 24-year-old sings over a bed of synths. “I can feel you whisper and laying on the floor. I try to stop but I keep on coming back for more.” Say what you like about Rita and her never-ending quest for publicity, but more often than not, she delivers the goods musically.
