Long before he was hopping onto Taylor Swift songs, Kendrick Lamar had plans to collaborate with a different pop diva, Lady Gaga. Leading up to the release of good kid, m.A.A.d city in 2012, Gaga revealed that she and K-Dot were working on a song called “PARTYNAUSEOUS” which was slated as a single for his album. At the time, Gaga said the song was partly inspired by Kendrick’s “forward thinking views about love + hip hop.” But the track ended up getting cut from Lamar’s project for business and creative reasons, leaving fans wondering what the duet would’ve sounded like.

And now, for some reason, the unreleased 2012 collab has finally surfaced online. Despite the title, it’s a pretty contemplative song, with a spectral beat and a hook about getting high/making love with your enemy. Hear it below:

This actually isn’t the first time Gaga and Lamar can be heard together. The singer also almost appeared on GKMC on hook duties for “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.” Her version of the song was ultimately scrapped as well, but DJ White Shadow posted the demo in late 2012.
