Grimes Confirms Fourth Album Plans For October
Grimes, the one-woman electro-pop experiment by Claire Boucher, has a few surprises in store for 2015. On May 23, she said on Twitter that she has a surprise release planned for her fourth album, the follow-up to 2012’s Visions, this fall.
When one fan asked about the exact date, Grimes said, “fall but it’ll be a surprise release cuz I want fans to get it b4 press and the tracks should be heard together.” Then she told another fan that her new album sounds “very different from anything Previous” because this music features “real instruments.”
Grimes opens for Lana Del Rey for select dates of the latter’s Endless Summer tour, May 28 to June 16. See her tweets about her upcoming fourth album below.
