Ariana Grande Confirms Her New Album Is Titled ‘Moonlight’
Yesterday (May 30), when Ariana Grande revealed select lyrics to a new song, fans initially thought she was tweeting parts of “Moonlight,” the rumored title track to her upcoming third album. While that wasn’t the case (they are from the album’s intro, she says), Grande did confirm the rumors to one Twitter follower: Yes, the new record is titled Moonlight. And yes, there is a title track.
The My Everything diva also talked the title track with another fan. “it’s a song i wrote with victoria one night that is v near and dear to my heart. my favorite / most special song i’ve got to this day,” she said. “victoria” is R&B singer-songwriter Victoria Monet, who has also written for Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Fifth Harmony. Monet released her Atlantic Records debut EP, Nightmares & Lullabies, in October.
