One Direction’s Next Album Is Almost Finished
One Direction‘s new album is almost finished, says member Niall Horan.
The boy band made significant progress when it spent nine weeks solely focusing on new music in Los Angeles and London. “We have most of [the album] written and quite a lot of it recorded,” Horan tells Capital FM. “We just need to kind of finish up stuff when we are on the road.”
One Direction has wasted no time in moving on as a foursome since Zayn Malik‘s departure. The group started working on new music immediately, even though its most recent album Four arrived just six months ago, as if to assure fans that the rest of its members aren’t going anywhere.
“The fans deserve it, you know,” Horan said on The Late Late Show last month, One Direction’s first TV appearance since Malik left. “They’ve been absolutely fantastic to us, and we enjoy every aspect of it.”
