When it comes to revving up a crowd who is ready to dance, festival organizers can always count on Gorgon City. The UK duo brought their feel-good throwback vibes to NYC’s Governors Ball yesterday (June 5), as they fueled the Gotham Tent with their smooth ’90s-laced house tunes.

They kicked off their 45 minute-long performance with “Coming Home,” which is taken from their stunning debut LP — 2014’s Sirens. Fellow UK performers Lulu James and Josh Barry helped Gorgon City with their many track features throughout the performance, and embody the same emotive vibe of the original guest singers on the album.

The UK duo’s insanely catchy production kept the Governors Ball audience’s feet steadily moving throughout their performance, as the fans (despite an incredibly packed tent) shimmied and waved their hands to every synth-filled beat.

Along with performing various tracks off their album like an amped-up version of “Imagination,” (my personal favorite) a powerful rendition of “Here For You” and singles like their “Right Here” collaboration with Jess Glynne, Gorgon City also added in bright and lively bursts of DJ samples that raised the crowd’s energy to new heights.

The Setlist Included:

Coming Home
“Real”
“Unmissable”
“6AM”
“Cowgirl”
“Lover Like You”
“Imagination”
“Here For You”
“Right Here”
