From Robyn to Tove Lo, Sweden has churned out more brilliant pop divas per capita than any country on earth. Snoh Aalegra, however, is one of the few Swedish exports to make a mark on the global R&B scene. Since arriving in Los Angeles, the 27-year-old has refined her sound (with a little help from legendary producer No I.D.) and delivered a killer soul/pop EP There Will Be Sunshine.

We’re excited to premiere a gorgeous acoustic rendition of the 2014 title track, which Snoh sings alone in a dimly lit room. The performance showcases the quality of the Swede’s delightfully raspy, deeply emotive voice. It also reminds us that there’s an edge to the singer/songwriter’s music that is camouflaged, to some extent, by her exotic roots and breathtaking good looks. Watch the Swede belt out “There Will Be Sunshine” below.
