Norwegian Pop Star Tooji Comes Out By Having Sex With A Priest In “The Father Project” Video: Watch
And the award for the most spectacular coming out announcement of the year goes to Tooji. Best known (until now) for representing Norway at Eurovision 2012, the 26-year-old pop star/model confirms that he is gay by hooking up with a priest in his new music video. “The Father Project” plays like a big-budget porno with eye-popping sex scenes (in front of shocked/aroused churchgoers, no less) and gratuitous nudity. When will Sam Smith?
As for the music? Well, “The Father Project” is a curious experiment. Tooji has a surprisingly soulful voice, while the collision of church music (I love the melodramatic lashings of organ) and slick electronica is decidedly different. It all goes a little wrong, however, with the trap breakdown. I’m still curious to hear what the Norwegian can bring to the table when he’s not doing the absolute most. Watch the NSFW video up top.
