Janet Jackson's New Single To Drop In June
Janet Jackson's new single is expected to arrive in June. In other words, any day now!

Well this is an interesting turn of events! Straight after Iggy Azalea cancelled her Pittsburgh Pride appearance after facing homophobia-related backlash just two days ago, the event’s organizers have swiftly chosen her replacement.

Nick Jonas will now be the performer for the Pride Fest, which takes place over the weekend. The “Chains” crooner said this in a statement:

“When I heard about the difficult position Pittsburgh Pride was in just days before their event, I knew I had to find a way to help. I’m excited to do what I can to support the LGBT community in Pittsburgh, and I look forward to seeing you this Saturday as we celebrate together.”

Delta president Gary Van Horn also shared his thoughts on the decision. “Nick had heard about Pittsburgh Pride in the media and called us on Tuesday and said he would like to come and perform,” Van Horn said. “He has been a supporter of the LGBT community, and he wanted to make sure that the community and Pittsburgh had a Pride event that they could be proud of.”

This is not the first time Iggy and Nick have been involved in a cancellation! Before her Great Escape Tour was shut down all together, the male crooner was booked as an opening act alongside Tinashe.

Jonas will entertain the Pittsburgh crowd for Pride In The Street on Saturday, June 13. Click here for more ticket information.
