Selena Gomez Reveals New Single Title And Release Date
The wait for Selena Gomez‘s new music is almost over. Last night (June 12), she revealed the title and release date of her upcoming single: “Good for You,” out June 22.
As a musical artist, Gomez was first signed to the Disney Channel-owned Hollywood Records until late 2014. She then inked a deal with Interscope and started recording with producers like Hit-Boy, Zedd and Rock Mafia — promising signs that as a pop singer, she is pursuing a more mature sound.
“This album will be much more adult, more feminine and more about Selena’s experiences,” Gomez’s vocal coach Stevie Mackey has said, adding, “She doesn’t mention [ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber] directly, but one could deduce that she is. Most artists sing about their present or past relationships in their music.”
