Zayn Malik quit One Direction this year in order to focus on his personal life — but that is not stopping him from recording music! In today’s WTF news, the former boy band member has remixed Rae Sremmurd’s ubiquitous “No Type” single alongside UK rapper MIC Righteous.

The rap duo’s tune serves to get the clubs and basement parties #LIT, yet Zayn’s take on the song turns it into a moody slow grind. The singer belts out “No Type” with a heartfelt emotion that is strangely intriguing, while MIC Righteous accent-heavy rap flow does not quite compare to Rae Sremmurd’s original catchy verses.

Take a listen to the remix, as well as a Zayn-only version, below. Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments!
