Jack Ü & Justin Bieber Release “Where Are U Now” Remixes And Lyric Video
Diplo, Skrillex and Justin Bieber have a bona fide hit on their hands with Jack Ü‘s “Where Are U Now,” so they took the logical step any artist does when looking to extend a song’s shelf life: They offered up a lyric video and a few remixes. But, this being a Mad Decent affair, the four remixes premiered at Modern Dog Magazine with the help of some Insta-famous canines.
As for the reworked versions, they’ve enlisted Kaskade, Rustie, Marshmello and Ember Island. Kaskade has turned it into a wobbly, melty EDM workout and Rustie gives it a maximalist sugar rush, but Ember Island turned it into a spectral ballad more in line with Bieber’s original take.
