Sam Bruno's "Search Party"
Sam Bruno's "Search Party" features on the soundtrack of new flick 'Paper Towns.'

Sam Bruno is something of a mystery. There’s very little information about her at this point, which is a fairly common (yet still annoying) tactic for marketing a new artist. We do know that she co-wrote a Kanye West song back in 2012 and won rave reviews across the interwebs for debut single “Search Party.” It’s the first taste of the Paper Towns soundtrack — a film which is shaping up to be the next The Fault In Our Stars. (They are both based on John Green novels).

The video for “Search Party” arrives today (June 18) and it’s nice to finally put a face to a voice. Sam heads off cross-country in the clip, which is intercut with footage from the film. We follow the rising pop star as she hangs out in diners, rides on the back of a Harley and dances around a bus stop. It culminates with the singer/songwriter taking a dip in a very patriotic swimsuit. Get to know the mysterious diva a little better up top.
