Britney And Giorgio's "Tom's Diner"
Britney Spears and Giorgio Moroder's cover of "Tom's Diner" is here! Take a listen.

Britney Spears returned to the charts earlier this year with Iggy Azalea collaboration “Pretty Girls,” but she could land an even bigger hit as the voice of Giorgio Moroder’s “Tom’s Diner.” It looks like their cover of Suzanne Vega’s 1990 hit (courtesy of a DNA remix) is going to be released as the third single from the Italian DJ’s Deja Vu LP. The proof? A new cover arrived online today (June 18) and the song was just uploaded to Brit’s VEVO account.

If you overlook the unnecessary autotune on Britney’s vocal and that bizarre robotic interlude in the middle, the duo deliver a well-executed update of a pop classic. It will be interesting to see if it catches fire on radio. The first two singles (Kylie Minogue collaboration “Right Here, Right Now” and the Sia-assisted title track) fizzled, but “Tom’s Diner” is still as catchy as it was 25 years ago and everybody loves the pop princess in dance mode.
