Pitbull And Chris Brown Spoof ‘Miami Vice’ In Their Extremely “Fun” Video: Watch
Pitbull and Chris Brown’s “Fun” really lives up to its title. A Miami Sound Machine-channeling throwback with exuberant Cuban rhythms and tropical percussion, the best track on Globalization (“This Is Not A Drill” comes a close second) is a definite contender for the Song Of The Summer. That cheeky chorus was custom-made for the warm weather and producers The Monsters And The Strangerz and Jason Evigan employ more hooks than your average art gallery.
All it needs is a sunny video and Mr. Worldwide certainly delivers. The Gil Green-directed visual spoofs Miami Vice with Breezy and Pit playing undercover agents. The rapper’s mission is to capture a dangerous female crime boss (who naturally looks like a supermodel) by seducing her with his suave dance moves and knee-weakening pink pants. It’s completely ridiculously, but endlessly entertaining. Watch up top.
