Selena Gomez is all grown up on the cover of new single “Good For You.” The 22-year-old, who left Hollywood Records late last year to pursue a more mature sound, oozes sex appeal with her loose white t-shirt and slicked back hair. It’s a good look for the Stars Dance diva and yet another indication that the next phase of her career will come as something of a shock to long-term fans.
The A$AP Rocky-assisted jam premieres on Monday (June 22) and is said to be a mid-tempo pop anthem with an R&B twist. One reviewer described it as having a “sultry hypnotic beat” and “Sexy lyrics (she wants 2 look #GoodForYou).” We don’t know who produced the track yet but my money’s on Hit-Boy. Selena spent several weeks in the studio with hip-hop producer this winter, which is more time than she spent with any other hitmaker. See the sizzling cover below.
