This year’s Grammys feel like ancient history (What is a “February?”), but Kanye West is still addressing his infamous fake-interruption when Beck accepted the Album of the Year award over Beyoncé, and his very real comments that Beck needs to “respect artistry” in a post-show interview with E!. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, West backpedals on the statements, admitting he was wrong. (He previously apologized to Beck on Twitter).

Yeezus revealed his fallibility, telling the British paper, “I’m fine to apologize for inaccuracies. You know, I send flowers for inaccuracies. I talked to Beck’s wife, and I think I had a point about Beyoncé’s album, but I think I was inaccurate with the concept of a gentleman who plays 14 instruments not respecting artistry.”

We agree on all counts! Praise Yeezus. Maybe now that Beck is back in genre-devouring funk mode, these two could kick around some collaborative ideas.
