Conchita Wurst Covers German ‘Rolling Stone’ With Full Beard And Nipple Pasties
Every now and again something or someone gives you reason to believe that the world is (just maybe) becoming a more progressive place. The success of Austrian drag-pop diva Conchita Wurst is one such hope-giving occurance. The 26-year-old came to fame by winning Eurovision in 2014 with soaring ballad “Rise Like A Phoenix,” but unlike most contest winners, he hasn’t faded away into obscurity. As his German Rolling Stone cover proves.
Tom Neuwirth (he identifies as a man and considers Conchita to be a character) poses on the striking cover with long locks, full make-up and trademark beard.
