The singer talks his new LP & the cerebral message under its sexy veneer.

Charlie Puth is the man of the moment when it comes to singing on rap hooks, and the rising artist is following up his ubiquitous “See You Again” collaboration alongside Wiz Khalifa with another tatted rapper — Lil Wayne.

The woozy tune appears on the upcoming 808 documentary soundtrack, and finds Weezy spitting out the lovely and scantily-clad ladies who take over our social media on the daily. Charlie comes in for the chorus, using his quasi-Justified vocals to discuss — what else? — Instagram models. Classy, boys!

Along with “Nothing But Trouble,” Tunechi is planning to drop his Free Weezy album this weekend (reportedly on July 4) — which gives another meaning to “Independence.”

Take a listen to the new collaboration below.
