Puff Daddy debuted his comeback single “Finna Get Loose,” featuring Pharrell, last night (June 28) at the 2015 BET Awards — a look into the future of Bad Boy Records. Now, the studio version has surfaced online ahead of its Apple Music debut tomorrow, June 30.

While the BET Awards crowd responded warmly to the live debut of “Finna Get Loose,” it certainly benefited from the Bad Boy hits medley that Puff Daddy performed before it, featuring cameos by Mase, 112, Faith Evans, Lil Kim and a Notorious B.I.G. projection. Turns out, “Finna Gets Loose” sounds as if Pharrell decided to do a more dramatic version of Nelly‘s “Hot in Herre,” with its similarly dissonant beat, rattling percussion and funky vocals. “Hot In Herre” was produced by none other than the Neptunes.
