Enrique Iglesias is coming for that Song Of The Summer crown by releasing an English version of international smash “El Perdon.” A collaboration with reggaeton star Nicky Jam, the breezy banger has already topped the charts in Italy, Spain and Mexico — not to mention topping Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and peaking (thus far) at number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also has 125 million+ views on YouTube.

The 40-year-old heartthrob teased the new version on Instagram yesterday (June 29) and the translation sounds pretty promising. No doubt, Enrique is hoping to emulate the crossover success of 2014 smash “Bailando.” That song, which was also released in Spanish and English, proved to be one of the biggest hits of the year — selling 8 million downloads around the world. “El Perdon” is just catchy enough for lightning to strike twice.
