The Dream Of The ’90s Is Alive In Owl City & Hanson’s “Unbelievable” Video

Owl City is getting ready to release his fifth album, Mobile Orchestra, on July 10. And by now, after scoring hits with Carly Rae Jepsen and Aloe Blacc, it is beyond apparent that the man born as Adam Young is a master of the collaboration. And for the latest illustration (literally) of that, he teams up with the guys from Hanson for “Unbelievable.”

As the song involves the iconic brother band that many of us pop fans grew up with, it is a fittingly nostalgic affair, with the guys singing about ’90s childhood minutiae like blowing on Nintendo cartridges. (All that’s missing is a sample of EMF‘s ’90s smash “Unbelievable.”) The upbeat memory-blast gets a fun animated video from director Ryan Maloney.

Watch it up top.
