Kid Ink & Salaam Remi Hop On OMI’s “Cheerleader” Remix: Listen
OMI‘s “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)” may not have won our Song Of The Summer 2015 poll, but the tune is certainly ruling the music scene everywhere else! So much so in fact, that Kid Ink and Salaam Remi teamed up to release a remix of the remix (Inception…) this week.
The new take on the song finds Remi (who’s produced for Amy Winehouse, Nas, Miguel and more) adding even more of a feel-good vibe, thanks to a few extra handclaps and additional brass melodies. Kid Ink’s guest verses makes the tune more radio-friendly, as this version will most likely be spun on urban radio.

OMI’s unexpected smash is currently dominating the top spot on iTunes and is at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, so we wouldn’t be surprised if this remix helped to catapult it to #1.
