Watch Tinashe & Cody Simpson Cover “Express Yourself”
Tinashe is working with hitmakers Dr. Luke and Max Martin on her second album.
The Denim & Supply fall 2015 campaign has led to the somewhat unlikely pairing of Tinashe and Cody Simpson for a cover of 1970 classic “Express Yourself.” The two singers teamed up to cover Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band‘s timeless single in New York City’s Electric Lady Studios for a new video touting the latest looks from the Ralph Lauren line.
“Being able to play guitar at Electric Lady, it was just so sick,” Simpson said of the experience. “I’m a crazy Hendrix fan, so being there was rad for me.”
Models Bella Hadid (sister of Cody’s ex, Gigi) and Hailey Baldwin also star in the video.
