Natalia Kills Is Now Teddy Sinclair
Natalia Kills has changed her name to Teddy Sinclair. She explained why on Instagram.

Natalia Kills has a new name (she now goes by Teddy Sinclair) and a new band. The Brit revealed that she’s no longer interested in releasing music as a solo artist in a Twitter Q&Q yesterday (July 7). “I always wanted to start a band,” the 28-year-old tweeted. “I adore Hole & Garbage so that’s what i’ll do next. I need to go darker + wilder.” So it’s really the end? “I’m not putting out another ‘Natalia Kills’ album… it’s time to say goodbye! It’s been a good ride!”

I think this is a great idea. The grungy rock/pop of Teddy’s excellent 2013 LP Trouble was a massive improvement on the stale electro-pop of The Perfectionist and I can see her making that sound even gutsier with a full band. In addition to that new project, she’s also writing songs for other artists including Madonna and Rihanna. The “Problem” diva penned “Holy Water” for the Queen of Pop and is responsible for promising R8 snippet “Kiss Me Quick” and, in her own words, “maybe more… shhhhhh!” See the tweets below.
