Nick And Demi Found Safehouse Records
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have started their own label Safehouse Records.

At one point “Teacher” was lined up to be the second single from Nick Jonas’ 2014 self-titled LP. The 22-year-old dropped an eye-catching lyric video and promoted the song extensively on social media. He then decided to upgrade “Chains” instead. The slinky R&B anthem went from being a buzz track to the official follow-up of breakthrough hit “Jealous” — leaving “Teacher” in limbo. However, it’s time might be coming at long last.

The always-reliable Dave Aude uploaded an official remix of “Teacher” on SoundCloud today (July 8), which suggests a club release is happening at the very least. Nick is currently featured on Sage The Gemini’s “Good Thing,” but there’s no reason why he can’t promote dual singles. The electro-house overhaul is a lot of fun — there’s a weird (in a good way) Harold Faltermeyer vibe happening — and fans need something to keep them occupied until his next LP drops later this year/early next year.
