Korn Remixed Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” And It Rules
I just listened to Korn‘s remix of Rihanna‘s “Bitch Better Have My Money” and god dammit I am so juiced up right now that my soul patch burst into flames and I tore off my extra-baggy Mossimo t-shirt. Put me within arm’s length of a can of Monster and I’m chugging that shit so hard and crushing the can with my face, you have no idea. I just wet my JNCOs.
For real, this remix is fire flames. “BBHMM” is basically a rap song, and Korn were key innovators in what ultimately became the rap-rock/nu-metal movement, previously working with hip-hop legends like Ice Cube and Q-Tip. Which is to say, they know what the fuck they’re doing with Rih’s new banger, and it turns out Rihanna’s obnoxious bleat-boasting is a perfect match for Korn’s downtuned nu-metal sludge. The result is probably the best thing they’ve released since that dubstep album, and arguably improves upon the original’s generic aggro-trap beat.
