Kelly Clarkson Covers Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” At ‘Piece By Piece’ Show: Watch
Kelly Clarkson has been taking fan requests for covers during her just-launched Piece By Piece Tour. So on July 16, the first of two nights at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, a fan named Danielle asked that Clarkson sing Nick Jonas‘ “Jealous” — and she was more than happy to do so.
“I’m so excited to sing this song because I love this guy,” she said, before mentioning their upcoming Canadian tour together. She then sang a re-imagining of Jonas’ solo hit, where it sounds more like a pop-country ballad than a slick R&B song. And given the natural soulfulness in her voice, she more than pulled it off.
