Idolator Interview: Adam Lambert
We spoke to Adam Lambert about the funky, housey sound of his new album.

On Saturday (July 18) night, Adam Lambert hit the stage at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California — just an hour-and-a-half drive from Los Angeles — and gave what hopefully will be a preview of an upcoming tour behind latest album The Original High.

During his flawless set, Lambert tore through such well-known cuts as “Ghost Town,” “The Original High,” Whataya Want From Me” and “If I Had You.” He also offered up cover versions of Queen‘s “Another One Bites The Dust” and Chris Isaak‘s “Wicked Game,” the latter of which got a sexy dance-beat overhaul. He also revealed on stage that he got his latest album’s title tattooed on his chest.

“I really believe in this album, goddamnit!” Adam shouted. “Clearly, it’s very close to my heart.”

Thankfully, a few crafty Glamberts got some great video of Adam’s set, which you can watch below. Be sure to flip to the following page to catch all the live clips!
