Watch Taylor bring out The Weeknd to sing a duet version of "Can't Feel My Face."

The Weeknd debuted a new song during his July 21 concert at Osea, an island off the coast of Essex. Rather than perform it live, the R&B singer — born Abel Tesfaye — played the studio recording as he took in the crowd’s seemingly positive reactions.

Initially, the Weeknd sounds like a total romantic: “And when I say I would be nothing without your love / I feel no shame, it’s amazing.” This feels strange, because his initial material had him taking multiple drugs and sleeping with multiple women, also without shame. But then comes a beat drop and the hook, where he calls himself “a prisoner of his decisions” and makes love sound dangerous. That is the Weeknd who fans know.

Listen to his new song, purportedly off his new album Beauty Behind the Madness, below.
