And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic music world. Read some of the best and shadiest comments below!

:: Mark Patti was #TeamKaty on Katy Perry Comments On Nicki Minaj And Taylor Swift’s Twitter Exchange, Finally Claps Back Over “Bad Blood”: “Thank God someone finally had the sense to point out that “Ms. Feminist” who’s always preaching about girls sticking up for eachother currently has a hit single written by a female for the purpose of tearing down another female. Very backwards. People might not always like Katy but she’s always 100% honest and thats why I love her.”

:: DeShaun Zollicoffer got to reading on Azealia Banks Reportedly Thinks Nicki Minaj’s Ass Isn’t VMA-Worthy, Leaves Her Label: “Does she ever shut up? I’m really surprised she still gets coverage. At this point she’s more famous for her rants, not her music. Which falls into the same category she’s dissing. She couldn’t be a top act even if she tried (too late at this point/missed that boat). She’ll stay on the outside. The label probably dropped her. Honestly, I’m starting to feel sorry for Banks because she obviously has a few screws loose. Opinionated? No, honey, you’re just an idiot. That’s why no one likes you. She makes everything about race and walks around with a large chip on her shoulder. IMHO, she has a massive inferiority complex.”

:: CA_Dreamin touched on Demi’s new image on Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer” Video Is A Steamy, Lady-Filled Romp: Watch: “I want to be the guy that says how disappointed I am for Demi’s blatant sexuality here, which let’s be honest, is so 2007. BUT, knowing her personality, I see her as more of a badass like, let’s say P!NK, than a typical pop tart like Rihanna… So I’m OK with it! ‘Cool for the Summer’ is exactly what it was intended to be, a care-free pop romp… So why not.”

:: Jay said this on OMI’s “Cheerleader” Tops Singles Chart For Second Week, Tyrese Has #1 Album: “Tyrese at #1 seems awfully random, but then again with album sales so low I think that’s expected.”

:: He also commented on Selena Gomez Announces Album Title ‘Revival’, Release Date On Instagram: Watch: “It’s always kind of amusing when pop stars who, let’s face it, have never really released anything too substantial or of very much meaning, give their albums titles like this in a bid to be seen more seriously. It’s understandable, it’s all a part of the process of growing up not only as a pop singer but as person as well, but amusing nonetheless. I’m just surprised she didn’t go the cliched, self-title route.”

:: Lee Yasir came for RiRi on Rihanna Announces New Fragrance ‘RiRi’: “I love you girl, but we want a release date. NOT another fragrance”

:: Nate Lyless spoke the truth on Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks And Tinashe Think They Were Snubbed By The MTV VMAs: “7/11 is a total crap, but not suprised if it got nominated as mtv literally adores bey. Many more videos deserved the nomination, and #nogaga/katy/brit no vmas sorry”

:: Lastly, Matt Davis wrote this gem on Ariana Grande Announces Debut Fragrance ‘Ari’: Watch: “Does it smell like doughnuts?”
