Ed Sheeran Helps Kodaline’s Jason Boland Propose To His Girlfriend: Watch
Ed Sheeran had Kodaline join him during his July 25 concert in Dublin, Ireland, though they had more in mind than just a performance. While on stage, Sheeran introduced Kodaline bassist Jason Boland before he proposed to his girlfriend: “Jason, you’ve got something to say.”
Fan footage shows Boland, getting visibly emotional as he searches for the right words to say. “I can’t imagine another day without this girl,” he says, before he gets teary and down on one knee — and she says yes. Sheeran and the rest of Kodaline stood by, ready to give congratulatory hugs.
Last night wasn’t the first time that Sheeran has orchestrated a proposal. Less than a week ago, he played “Tenerife Sea” as Rixton‘s Jake Roche asked Little Mix‘s Jesy Nelson to marry him.
