Watch Alessia Cara’s TV Debut With “Here” On ‘Tonight Show’
Canadian singer Alessia Cara covers "Bad Blood" and it gets a co-sign from Taylor Swift herself.
Hours after announcing her debut EP, Four Pink Walls, 18-year-old Alessia Cara made her US television debut on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday (July 29). She performed her fast-rising hit “Here,” backed by The Roots, and to go along with the ode to being a wallflower, she was wearing a shirt that read “Life of the Party.”
For a self-described “antisocial pessimist” giving her first major appearance, she was incredibly engaging, mugging for the camera and owning the stage. She even seemed to be enjoying all the attention at the end when Fallon told her “You belong here.” This girl’s gonna be huge.
