Taylor Swift Joined By Nico & Vinz To Sing “Am I Wrong” In Vancouver: Watch
Initially, Nico & Vinz weren’t sure about 2014’s “Am I Wrong.” The Norwegian pop duo listened to it, then had friends listen to it, to conclude that it wasn’t tailor-made for radio but was a good song nonetheless. “Then we released it in different markets — we started off in Norway and spread it out across Europe and saw that people were gravitating towards it,” Nico told us. “So that’s when we realized [the song] could actually become something.”
That’s an understatement. Last night (August 2), just a year after “Am I Wrong” became its breakthrough hit, Nico & Vinz joined Taylor Swift on stage at Vancouver’s BC Place so that all three of them can sing it together. What made the moment even more exciting was their infectious energy. It’s rare to see Swift follow another act’s lead, though when the duo commanded that everyone jump, the pop superstar followed suit. She would have been foolish not to listen.
