5 Seconds Of Summer Rock Out In Their Quirky “She’s Kinda Hot” Video
5 Seconds Of Summer have a hit on their hands with “She’s Kinda Hot.” The first taste of the Aussie rockers’ sophomore album raced straight to number one on iTunes and is furiously racking up spins on pop radio. (It was the greatest gainer this week). The band keeps that momentum going by unveiling the video today (August 3), which finds the guys hanging out in a fairly dysfunctional household. They also perform for screaming fans.
While the concept isn’t as tight as “Good Girls” (reform school girls gone wild) or “Amnesia” (a walk down memory lane), there are a couple of cute flourishes — namely the animated gaming symbols that appear throughout and the weird buggy-type vehicle they perform upon. “She’s Kinda Hot” was co-written by Benji Madden and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte fame.
