Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor spark a make-out frenzy in "Marvin Gaye" video.

Charlie Puth surprised fans by announcing the title and release date of his debut album on Twitter yesterday (August 2). The newcomer’s LP is called Nine Track Mind and drops November 6. While the tracklist is still under lock and key, it’s a safe bet that chart-topping smash “See You Again” will feature in one form or another (a solo version perhaps?). The same goes for current single “Marvin Gaye,” which is shaping up to be the year’s biggest sleeper hit.

First released in February, the Meghan Trainor-assisted retro-ballad has only just caught fire on radio and finally broke into the iTunes top 10 over the weekend. With an onslaught of promotion on the way, don’t be surprised to see the song wreak havoc on the Billboard Hot 100 in the next couple of weeks. Charlie released his debut EP Some Type Of Love in May. It features “Marvin Gaye” and Bruno Mars sound-a-like ballad “I Won’t Tell A Soul.”
