Are One Direction Filming Their “Drag Me Down” Video At NASA?
Tabloid Daily Mail reported yesterday (August 6) that One Direction arrived at NASA’s Space Center in Houston to film their “Drag Me Down” video, to be directed by Ben Winston (“Best Song Ever,” “Story of My Life”). On Twitter #WelcomeBackToTexas1D started trending, as fans circulated blurry photos and videos reportedly from the set.
To regional outlets, this isn’t enough proof. To be fair, they’ve had to deal with similar rumors at least once before. Earlier this year, fans claimed that Beyonce and Nicki Minaj filmed their “Feelin’ Myself” video on parts of Houston’s US-59 — a rumor that proved to be false.
According to one airport employee, One Direction did at least touch down in Houston. He told local station HOT 97.5 that he handled the boy band’s luggage, while a coworker of his accompanied the group through the airport, where fans were already standing by to take photos.
