Katy Perry Recorded A Christmas Song, And The Tease Is Kind Of Unnerving: Watch
Was there something or other mentioned about new music coming from Camp Katy Perry at that iHeartMedia event last week? There was, right? No?
Either way, lo and behold — Katy’s teased a Christmas song on Instagram. Or at least she was fucking around with her team and wasting money and valuable studio time by recording a Christmas song just for the giggles of it all.
Last night Ms. Perry slapped a video of four folks dressed as elves spinning around in slow motion onto the photo sharing site, and it’s basically the scariest thing we’ve seen since It Follows was on the big screen in the spring. Actually, this is more frightening.
“When your derp squad writes a Christmas song in August,” Katy quipped on Instagram.
Keep in mind that she’s the face of H&M’s upcoming holiday campaign, and that there’s a means to an end with everything in this silly game called pop.
