We’re less than two weeks from the US release of Carly Rae Jepsen‘s pleasurable pop ride E·MO·TION (out August 21), and to tide you over till then Idolator is premiering Y2K‘s sweeping electo overhaul of the album’s second single, “Run Away With Me.”
Y2K douses Jepsen’s latest with a shower of synths and marching band beats, while also amping up the soaring backing vocals and drawing out even more of the euphoria the album version of the song possesses.
