LunchMoney Lewis Performs “Whip It!” and “Bills” On ‘Today’: Watch
LunchMoney Lewis dropped by Today this morning (August 12) to perform a couple of songs on the outdoor stage. The 27-year-old kicked off with breakthrough hit “Bills” and then launched into new single “Whip It!” Ably assisted by collaborator Chloe Angelides, the Miami native soon had the crowd grooving along to his irresistible retro-pop anthem — a sure sign that he’s about to land another big hit.
The songwriter-turned-pop star released his debut EP Bills in April. A feature-free zone, the four-song set showcased Lunch’s soulful pipes and eclectic array of influences. He switches it up on “Whip It!” — rapping the verses, while Chloe takes care of the chorus. Watch the newcomer in action up top and below.
