Boy, this latest Robin Thicke album cycle has been going almost well enough to make you forget about the disaster that was Paula, hasn’t it? And now the singer looks to put that period of his career even further into the rear view with the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Back Together” video.
No longer a groveling puddle of forced emotions trying to win back his ex, Thicke is back to being his suave, suit-wearing self in the short clip. He hosts a pool party as the track’s honorable guest dances beside him. Nothing like Nicki twerking in your face to make you forget about that drawn-out copyright infringement appeal.
