Gorgon City Release New “Saving My Life” Single Featuring ROMANS: Listen
After the excitement around their debut Sirens album evened out over the past few months, Gorgon City have been an international festival staple all while hinting that new music will be arriving shortly.
Well folks, today (August 17) is that day — but unfortunately the new tune does not live to expectations. The UK electronic/dance duo’s “Saving My Life” single will surely get people grooving both in the clubs and major festivals, but the sound is no different from what we’ve heard on Sirens — the Katy B-assisted “Lover Like You,” to be exact.
Middlesex singer-songwriter ROMANS is featured on the track, has vibrant vocal that help save the tune (no pun intended). Yet overall, “Saving My Life” falls within an all-too-familiar musical vein. It may not be the strongest return single, but we’re sure Gorgon City has some bangers up their sleeves to drop soon!
