Iggy's Release Date
After scraping six months of work, Iggy Azalea won't release new music until 2016.

Over the weekend, rising rapper Jidenna claimed that his breakthrough hit “Classic Man” doesn’t sample Iggy Azalea’s 2014 smash “Fancy” in a radio interview — despite the fact that she gets a percentage of every sale. The newcomer reasoned that he was worried about the “Blurred Lines” ruling and wanted to be cautious. Because, you know, record labels are throwing cash away these days… just in case they get sued.

His mentor/Wondaland boss lady Janelle Monae was also in attendance and added: “She steals from us, we steal back.” This is the kind of jab that would normally trigger a lengthy reply from Iggy (never forget her iconic beef with Papa John’s), but she’s surprisingly unbothered. “Another disgruntled artist ive never met throwing shade at me on the radio isnt news, its just another day at hot 97,” she tweeted. “Im bored.” Is the Aussie diva a reformed woman?
