Lana Del Rey Seems Unbothered By “High By The Beach” Chart Error, Reveals New ‘Honeymoon’ Song Title
Lana Del Rey has every right to be a little pressed. Earlier this week, Billboard reported that the 30-year-old had landed her second top 10 hit with “High By The Beach” — complete with a bumper first-week sales tally of 248,000 copies. Only they got it wrong and the breezy anthem was demoted to number 51. Instead of jumping on Twitter and expressing her frustration, the Ultraviolence diva simply shared a pretty orchestral cover of her new single. In short, she’s not that bothered.
In other Lana news, the singer/songwriter happily revealed the title of her favorite song on new LP Honeymoon to swarming paparazzi yesterday (August 18). It’s called “Terrance Loves You” and she loves it because “it’s jazzy.” The album, which features collaborations with Mark Ronson, Daniel Heath, Rick Nowels and Emile Haynie, is expected to drop September 18. She has described the opus as similar in tone to debut LP Born To Die and her Paradise EP.
