Janet Jackson Winds Back The Clock With Gorgeous Pic From ‘Unbreakable’ Photo Shoot
It’s been a big day for Janet Jackson fans. The pop icon confirmed that the title of her 11th LP is indeed Unbreakable (makes sense — it’s also the name of her upcoming world tour) and shared a snippet of a new track called “The Great Forever.” Another collaboration with long-time collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, the mid-tempo groove finds the 49-year-old in a livelier mood than “No Sleeep.” Which bodes well for the album.
If that’s not enough to make the diva’s faithful followers weep, Janet also unveiled a jaw-droppingly gorgeous promo pic from her album shoot. The black-and-white snap takes us back to the hitmaker’s ’90s hey day with luscious locks, heavy jewelry and ripped jeans. If you told me this was from the janet. era, I’d believe it — only there’s video (below) to prove it was taken this year. What kind of ageless queen?! As far as I can tell, this is Janet’s first new photo shoot since posing for Blackglama in 2011.
