Hear the soulful "Tell Your Friends," off The Weeknd's new album.

One of the most anticipated tracks on The Weeknd‘s forthcoming Beauty Behind The Madness is “Prisoner,” his duet with Lana Del Rey. It’s one of three high-profile collabs on the album, along with the Ed Sheeran-featuring “Dark Times” and the Kanye West-produced “Tell Your Friends.” And on paper, it’s a perfect storm of hazy nights, broken hearts and nihilism.

So does it live up to expecations? Completely! For one thing, you get signature Lana: She mentions Hollywood within the first two seconds of her verse, and she gives a spoken word outro. The arrangement is straight mixtape-era Weeknd, with a lumbering beat and ghostly vocals at the edges. Lana’s husky voice serves as a nice counterpoint to The Weeknd’s falsetto, and they combine for a chorus with some serious lift.

Listen to the murky partnership in action right here.

Beauty Behind The Madness is out August 28.
